I picked it yesterday while walking home from the babysitter. So amazing! A baby, with lilacs in bloom!
*Of course, you'll notice that I'm not providing you with a particularly oxytocin-inducing photo of, say, Elliot holding the lilac. That would be nice, but everytime I gave it to him he tried to eat it. Are lilacs edible?

Edible lilacs? Not sure. But Ian did the same thing with a gerber daisy the other day. The look he gives me is interesting, as if to say, "Why the heck did you give it to me if you didn't want me to put it in my mouth?" Really I just wanted to expose him to new texture, scent, and color. Not necessarily 'flavor'. Hope your Mother's Day was grand!
