Bloomsday

It's Bloomsday!

Today I feel sad for Leopold Bloom. It's sad about Rudy. "I could have helped him on in life. I could," is what Leopold Bloom says.

It's OK if you have no idea what I'm talking about.

B, I'm going to copy Martha Nussbaum's chapter on our friend, Poldy, for you sometime. I love her "read" of "his day!" and nice to have a son-in-law who is so versatile as to make homemade yogurt, write code, AND celebrate June 16th with me! Love, Mimi

i started Ulysses again a few years after a disastrous first effort at eighteen...i even started on Bloomsday the second time round but still got stopped up somewhere about sixty pages in. i like the rhythm but oh, oh, the brain is lazy. :)
